While our app provides a seamless mirroring experience, it's important to note that there may be a slight latency of a few seconds (typically 1 to 3 seconds). Therefore, we do not recommend using the app for gaming activities. However, it is perfect for watching movies, giving presentations, displaying photos, and much more!

How It Works

1. Ensure that your iPhone or iPad is connected to the same local network as your Samsung TV. Avoid using multiple VLANs or subnets.
2. Launch the Mirror for Samsung TV app, which will automatically search for your Samsung TV(s) on your local network. Upon your first use, your TV may prompt you to "allow" the connection. Simply use your TV Remote Control to press OK and permit the communication between your TV and device.
3. Enable notifications for the app. Rest assured, we will only use notifications to keep you updated on the status of your TV connection. It's crucial to allow notifications as it helps identify and troubleshoot any potential issues.
4. Click on "Start Mirroring" to initiate the mirroring process on your selected TV. Once activated, you can freely switch to any other app on your iPhone or iPad while mirroring continues in the background.
5. To stop mirroring, you can either click on the red top bar that appears on your device or navigate back to the Mirror for Samsung TV app and choose "Stop Mirroring."

Limitations and Known Issues:

Please note that certain apps have implemented restrictions on screen mirroring, meaning it is up to the application developers to enable or disable this feature. Notably, popular platforms like Netflix, Disney, and AppleTV+ have opted to block screen mirroring functionality.
